1. To pay an initial membership fee as set out in the attached application for membership.  This one time fee initiates you into the Oregon Trade Expansion Network and entitles you to participate as a member and to interact and conduct barter trade

2. Transactional fees are payable additionally on the value of all barter trades which are concluded by members. The present service fee of 5 % supplements operational and administrative expenses associated with assisting you with your needs and wants and recording and administering the Oregon Trade Expansion Network being the vehicle through which reciprocal barter trade between members is regulated in accordance with sound business practices.  Remember, our fees are based on new customers, new sales at full retail value and on purchases as a result of which you effectively obtain a discount equivalent to your gross margin.  Our fees are thus a small price to pay for the opportunities and benefits which are available to you to enhance your trade volumes and profitability.
